1.4.3: seems to end live viewing every 2 minutes
It seems like a minute or three go by while watching live tv before SageTV jumps back to the guide.... in order to return to watching the program, I have to go back into live tv and then press "channel up", "channel down"...this after going from a radeon 7500 (overlay) to a radeon 9600 (vmr9) on XP SP1.
I'm attaching the log... "Seeker awoken" seems to be the line on which SageTV just randomly reverts to the guide. What is the seeker and why does it seem to want to cramp my style, so to speak? TIA, Stuart Last edited by salsbst; 07-05-2003 at 11:19 PM.

BTW, this problem seems to have been accompanied by an inability to schedule any recordings.
Seems to have been resolved by: a) deleting all previously recorded shows b) deleting sage.properties c) deleting wiz.bin and wiz.bak If it crops up again I will post again.

I called it the Seeker because I had that song by the Who in my head when I was trying to figure out what to name that component. The Seeker is essentially the master controller for all core recording functionality in SageTV.
 Now I giggle to myself every time I hear that song.
