Please, Please Add Forced Ch Change
Please if possible add force channel change to this release. I have seen several people asking for it and it is a must have for me. If you only have one cable box it is too easy for Sage to get out of sync.
One other thing I would very much like to see in a future release is the ability to slide the time of the clock +/- , say upto 120 seconds. My cable company seems to run about 30 seconds of from Sage and I don't want to disable the atomic clock settings. One of the channels I like to watch is FoodTV and they don't put commercials between shows. So I am always getting the last thirty seconds of the previous show and missing the last 30 seconds of the one I want. |

Why don't you simply pad the recording time? (I believe this option is in the GUI options)
Yes it would make a longer recording, but at least you would get the whole show. That is what I do, and it works perfectly for me... Jason Quote:

That is what I am doing. It would make it so much easier if you could make it an options setting so you would not have to adjust each show. Also when you are watching live it cuts off 30 seconds early.

Yes, once again i'd like to second this request, forcing a channel change to make sure sage & the digibox are in synch would be a very welcome feature.

I wish it could be made a 'universal' setting too.. BUT, once I got all of my Favorites adjusted, it wasn't a big deal.
After moving SageTV to a new machine this weekend though, and having to re-do them all (forgot to back up my old SageTV files), it reminded me that a universal setting would have been nice. Jason Quote:
