You cannot

If I have time tomorrow, I will create a custom version of YAC that gives you the option to disable it's own popup, and specify the listener port per listener, although strictly speaking, if you can see the YAC popup, you don't really need my plugin

Odd... it should work at all times, both with test calls+normal calls, unless that is you have a problem which means you don't get ANY Osd menus with video.

V1.4 released

I have released a new 1.4 version (and updated the cayars17_infopopup zipfile also).

This includes:
  • Auto-pause playback
  • Auto-resume on timeout
  • Custom positioning of popup dialog
  • Options menu (in detailed setup/enhancements) to customise all of the above

(in the cayars17 zipfile, the options is in the 'external setup' section for space reasons)

Positioning of the Window!! Great! We needed that. Can I request that the window's size be configurable, in the next version? That would be icing on the cake!

Now I just wish MLBDude's STV would support import plug-in's.

Are there any specific requirements for the modem for this application? Will any old card work?

Can anyone recomend a cheap modem for this application?

One more feature request (very low priority).

Would like the option to NOT show the CLOSE button on the dialog. Would think you could then have a smaller dialog with the same info, and let the auto-timeout close it.

Oh, and the ability to make the dialog semi-transparent would be AWESOME.

Thanks again!

Jason

Just wanted to say thanks. I love it! I installed the YAC server software/modem on an office computer and use your plugin on my HTPC/Sage box. It works perfectly!

I couldn't get the test call to work until I changed a line in the popup STV code from bind_port=20001 to bind_port=10629 (maybe Nielm can confirm that this works for others )

The dialog box should show up transparent if the general popup theme in the STV is set to transparent.... Mine is set to 240/255 transparency which is mostly opaque, but the light colors bleed through enough to slightly see items through it.... . Kind of like looking through stained glass.... or jello..

If you make it more transparent than that and stack 3 pop-up menus on top of each other, it's hard to make out the text sometimes....

Lauren

Does anyone have a different phone image? Possibly something that would match the sagemc stv a bit better?

I've found a GANT phone image to match your custom menus images.

SageMC 16x9

Has anyone installed this w SageMC 169? Does it use the theme window style or does it use the style from the OrginalV2 STV?

It uses the OriginalV2 style (sorry -- limitation of imports with custom STVs)

Where do you set the transparancy for Sage. I took a look at the properties files, but did not see anything obvious.

thanks,

mutible mvp's

Quote:
If you run multiple MVP clients from the same system, only one of them can display YAC caller ID messages, as each client would need to listen on a different port, and the current (0.16) version of YAC can only use a single port for all clients.
Did any body get this plugin working for multible mvps??

I never got it working at all... The Sage plugin works fine. Doing the 'test' from YAC works fine.

But I never get CID info when people call. Same modem works fine with PhoneBOT (has for over a year), so I know the modem and my phone service support CID.

Oh well.

You must make sure you use a modem with caller ID capability. Most modems will also need special configurations to the registry to make them operate properly with caller ID.

I had to troubleshoot for 2 days to get mine working. Work fine in terminal mode but would not work with actual call. Finally found the fix and works great.
