Thank you kricker, I'll try sleeper tomorrow and let you know.

I'm afraid the sleeper program does not really help me.
My system sleeps when the program tells it to sleep after a configured time delay, just as it should do. In that case using my SageMC user interface does not prevent the sleeping, but as far as I can see nothing stops the sleeper action: no mouse movement or keyboard action resets the time delay. This means I cannot diagnose my problem with it unless I am overlooking a testing method. kricker: when you run the sleeper program, can you reset the sleeping-delay when using mouse or keyboard? I did find out that a year ago jamjam reported the same problem in this same thread: Suspend Problem with STV Quote:

Sorry, no you are not missing anything. I thought when I used sleeper for testing before, if an app was preventing the PC to sleep, even sleeper wouldn't put it to sleep. |

thanks kricker.
I wonder that there must be other people n this thread who use Power Mannagement together with SageMC. Doesn't anybody have problems similar to the one I have?????????? |

I am having a problem getting my movies, specifically offline movies, to work with sageMC and DVD Profiler.
I added the following lines to the properties file: mlbdude/DVDProfiler_Root=C\:\\Program Files\\InterVocative Software\\DVD Profiler mlbdude/auto_add_offline_path=true mlbdude/enable_dvd_profiler_errors=true mlbdude/meta_data_collection.xml=F\:\\XML\\collection.xml mlbdude/offline_path=F\:\\Offline\\Offline DVD's I go to "import offline DVDProfiler Videos" but it just reads the info out of the collection.xml file that came with this STV located in: C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE 1. Why won't it read my collection.xml file that I put in F:\XML\collection.xml? 2. Also, do I need to put any file or anything in my Offline DVD's folder that I created?

Hmm...it appears to be hard coded to the:
C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE path (so it's ignoring the location you specify--is this a bug?). I'm using that location to dump my collection.xml, so it works for me. But I assume that is why it's not working for you. Nope, nothing needed in your Offline DVD's folder, SageMC will take care of that for you. But, you do need to add that path to your imported media, Library Media, to be exact.

C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE and now I see my movie titles in a list, but how do I import them? I can click on one of them in the list and some icon goes away beside its title, but then there is only a cancel button. What am I doing wrong?

Ah, here it is. See post 1776. http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...postcount=1776 BTW, there is also a properties listing that you can change the text that is displayed when you click on an offline movie to play, but it's offline, just in case you didn't know. mlbdude/offline_message=Please insert selected DVD to play this video, and select "Play DVD" from main menu.

Yep, it should have created a JPG and an MPG file for each offline movie, inside of the folder that you specified.
I believe you have to do a "rescan import folders" for them to show up.

I tried a rescan and still no JPG's. Still none in the offline folder, only the MPEG's.

Do the titles in DVD Profiler and the MPEG's match, including case?

Not exactly. For one thing, all of the mpeg's are lower case while some of the letters are upper case in DVD Profiler. Actually, that seems to be the only difference.

Yeah, that is kind of annoying. Try changing the case of the MPG (manually) to match exactly, and see if that fixes the problem.
I reported that as a possible bug a while back, but I'm not sure anything was done about it.
