Ha! Good question. With all the sharing going on between STV's you could break something else by removing a file. As far as SageMC is concerned, it is really just the STV and the SageMCE folder. The other support files are just bundled but available elsewhere. As for those, if you don't use any other custom STV's, you could probably delete the SageTV\net, SageTV\DVDPro2Sage, SageTV\JARs, and SageTV\com folders as well since those will be rebuilt with SageMC.

The next full release will have SageMC going to the new SageTV3 folder. If you want to go to that now all you have to do is move the SageMC STV and SageMCE folder from OrigionalV2 to the SageTV3 folder. Then change the below properties for the new SageTV3 folder:

mlbdude/weather_exe=\\STVs\\SageTV3\\SageMCE\\GetWeather.bat
mlbdude/weather_file=\\STVs\\SageTV3\\SageMCE\\Weather.txt
mlbdude/weather_image_root=\\STVs\\SageTV3\\SageMCE

Do not delete the JARs subdirectory -- SageTV v3 installs files there too.

mlbdude. Nice job on the weather integration. Works perfectly for me. Except there was some text cut off on the lower left hand side, not sure what it was now, right off hand, but it wasn't related to the actual weather.

Also, I tried out the My Music Files. Very nice way to find stuff, even if it's in your music folder anyway. A clean layout without album art. Thanks!

My Music Files is best used by those that don't have properly tagged music files. If you do the My Music interface is much richer.

Also, when someone with HDTV setup tries this out, let me know how/if the HDTV Guide filter works.

conflicts...

If I go to schedule something and it conflicts with something already there... I get a menu popup saying such. However, the only option is to NOT record what I just chose.

Is this a bug?

Updated dev build with that fix. It also includes the option to use the dynamic menu as your home menu.

Use this property to change that behavior:

mlbdude/dynamic_main_menu=false

Question Requests/Questions:

1. Is it possible to have the time(clock) display in the 24 hour standard via a configuration option?

2. With studio being released, I was wondering if it is possible to add the ability to play a real CD?

3. I see methods for ripping/burning CDs. Any thought of adding that?

1. possibly

2. not possible (I wish) other than launching another program on a button

3. It is not supported native in Sage yet but it seems to be coming.

IMDB Built in?

I have a question about this... do I need to install Nielm's plugin, or by using this STV's latest build I get his plugin automatically?

Thanks!

All features mentioned are included in the STV - dynamic menu, IMDB, etc.

thanks for the nice added features. any thoughts on you implementing a CD ripping/burning feature?

Thought you might like this: I was fooling around with the dynamic menus on an otherwise stock v3.stv and left it that way without switching it back to the sagemc one. I got home and my wife was going crazy saying she couldn't stand it and wanted sagemc back, why did I change it..blah blah blah! So obviously I changed it back. BTW-- My wife says hello and thanks
