Hmm, now I am confused ... I am also using a standard 4x3 TV (resolution set to 800x600), and I just noticed I never set those mentioned paramters. But looking at your original post, I never experienced those problems (cut off buttons), the only issues I have are the long titles and descriptions...

I tried the values mlbdude suggested, but those dont do much except making the buttons in the left panel larger and are even worse, e.g. with this I get buttons bleeding into the titles on the Recorded TV/Info page ...

I think it was a try at fixing the issue, but I'm not sure mlbdude worked on it that much. I mentioned to him that it made it worse, but didn't get much out of him...those HDTV guys are snobs...LOL, actually, I am one now...so I shouldn't say that!

has anyone had the problem where your import folder volume has to be turned all the way up along with the master volume of the tv just to be able to hear a little bit?

i had this posted in the wrong thread so i moved it here. On the old stv with the secret password enabled there was a guide that showed new shows and premieres. Can sage mce pull that info? That was a great feature. Now i switch between STVs so i dont miss any new shows.

Is there an option in SageMC to select which tuner to use for a show? If not, is this something that can possibly be added. Thanks.

You would need to request that as a core feature in Sage TV. You can't do it in Sage now. It has nothing to do with SageMC.

How do the new suggestions work in MCE? Do I need to turn on IR and start marking shows as liked or don't like? I guess what I'm asking is how can I train it so that the shows it suggests are more likely to be ones I'd want to watch. Currently it gives me a really long list of shows, many of which I have little to no interest in.

Hi blade,

the new suggestions screen lists all the shows Sage would schedule to record if you had IR turned on. This list is obtained from a Sage API call and is not specific to SageMC, nielm's webserver will probably use the same. And yes, you have to 'train' Sage by marking shows as 'watched' or 'dont like' to come up with some better suggestions ...

Does it list "- First Run" on the Program Info page ?

I've seen that happen before too, such as with Mega Disasters.

Same question to you, did you by any chance check on the 'Program Info' screen if this show was listed as '- First Run' ?
