Up/Down buttons (Creative DVCR)
Hi,
I have registered the software, as it is a better alternative to Creative's bundle. The up / dowm buttons do not change the channel on the DVCR as expected. Is there a way to enable the DVCR remote to work with Sagerecorder? Thanks, Bob |

Hi Rob/Bob,
I had the same problem initially. Though I discovered that if you scroll down the commands list, you will find two functions called "Up/Channel Up" and "Down/Channel Down" as well as "Right/Volume Up" and "Left/Volume Down" which correspond perfectly to the DVCR's remote buttons. Map those to the remote and I assure you that you will be pleased. pb

Where are these options?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I cannot seem to find where these options are located. Could you enlighten me? Thanks! |

Those settings mentioned are for SageTV, not SageRecorder. But I think Girder has support for the Creative remote, and if so, you can then use that in conjunction with SageRecorder.

Any plan to fix the up/down buttons in SageRecorder? The number buttons work, but Up/Down does not.
Are there any details on setting up Girder to work with the Creative Remote? Thanks, Bob |

Go to Setup->Sources and then do Autotune. Then the channel up/down will work. Initially there's no channels defined, so there's nothing to go up/down to.
