Wattage for PSU on similar HTPCs
I'm thinking about getting a fanless PSU from SilverStone NOISE!!, but it is only 300W.
I currently have a 400W PSU. I know, I know.... it's all scientific about what my PC's needs are and I could figure it out mathematically. But, I'm lazy ;-), so I'm just wondering what others have that are running a similar configuration: Intel P4 3.0 GHz 1 G RAM SageTV 2 TV Tuner cards (PVR-350 w/ TV-OUT and PVR-250) SoundBlaster Nice video card DVD Player Anybody else supporting a similar configuration with only 300W PSU? thanks! |

I've got 10 HDD running in my Athlon XP server on a 300W Fortron PS.
If I were you I'd get an Antec Phantom. |

The Enermax Noisetaker EG325AX or EG375AX would do fine for your setup. My 485 can only be heard when all case fans are turned off, and only up close.
