autogk avi problem
I recently downloaded autogk and transcoded a movie. The resulting movie will play in media player but not in sage. I then transcoded a short segment (about 5 minutes) that I had cut from a news segment and that avi plays fine. I checked using gspot and they are both encoded with xvid and mp3. I have codecs for both of these and have several other xvid recordings transcoded in linux using dvd::rip that work fine. Does anyone have any idea why this one isn't working.

program hiccup
Well it turned out to be a hiccup in the program after restarting sage a couple of times and then restarting the system. Finally after about the six time it magically was able to play it.
