Thumbs up Props to STV writers; wow, look at all this good stuff!

Quick props to all the STV writers out there; i've been real busy in the offline/multi-zone audio world for nearly a year so I haven't mucked with much in the way of SageTV, nor been an active contributor here for some time. I think i run v1.1 of mlbdude's STV, ~mid-may/04 :-)

I'm pretty happy with what I have Sage-wise, but I happened to have some time on my hands, so I thought I'd check in to see what Frey is up to, and see when I'm going to get HD recording via Sage.

Well, it doesn't look like i'm much closer to HD recording, but dang - props to all those STV writers - i can't believe how much stuff you guys have been able to accomplish! [Web Server? Man!] Also makes me feel good about Sage - they must have written a decent API set to let you guys do so much.

So, thanks from a user who'll benefit from the hard work you guys have put in to make this product even better.

Well, I have to agree that the STV writers thus far have done an exceptional job... and I hate to rain on the back patting parade... but I still think that we'd be much further along if we ALL had access to studio. I for one would really prefer to be contributing to the STV community instead of just getting what the "elite" few are able to dole out.

Studio remains one of the major reasons why I invested in Sage, and it still remains a disappointment that they still haven't released it over a year and a half after making their plans for it public.

So, my gratitude to the STV writers for keeping Sage usable in the interim, and I fart in the general direction of whomever's decision it is not to release studio to the rest of us...

Now THAT's funny! I don't think it could possibly be said any better!
