usbirt codes for sky

for some random reason i now cant program the sky commands into sage.
please can somebody who has it hooked up post the code file?

He is a copy of mine. It doesn't have the OK command to get rid of the blue sky channel OSD as quickly as possible. But I never owned a sky remote-only the digibox so I had to hack this file from the one included with GBPVR (can't understand why Sage doesn't inculde a Sky Digibox .ir file as standard)

You may need to alter the speed at which it sends the commands. My USB UIRT is located about 5 cm from my digibox so I have been able to reduce the channel changing timings.

im getting unsupported compression when I try to unzip that file...
could you post the uncompressed one please.. it should be quite small still..

I was not able to upload .ir extension. I have therefore changed it to a .txt extension. You will have to rename back to .ir before you can use it.

I've been using a beta of 7-zip for compression and your not the first person to have difficulties with my zip files - sorry.

I have sky + box now, a pace 3100.
does anyone have the codes for that??... or any idea why my system can now NOT learn the codes!!!

I find that I have to place the transmitter almost touching(5mm) the USBUIRT and over to one side to learn commands.

bartley9, the USB-UIRT docs say that you have to hold the RC about 2inches from the USB-UIRT when learning the codes.

beleive me i've tried each and every direction and distance!! and it used to work, its just one of those random things...
all i really need is the .IR file from someone who has it working (Pace 3100 sky+ box)?

you know it would be useful to have a little repository of IR files for different set top boxes.. what u think? if I get a few positive responses (and IR files!) Ill start a little page with them all on..!
