Comskip not working on client

Ok, I'm using UNC paths, Client can see the the recorded videos and can skip commercials that have already been detected by the server.
But if I go into detailed view of a recording and select com detect on the client, it immediately comes back saying:

"Commercial Detection Finished in 2 Seconds - 3 Commercial Segments Detected."

Obviously it's not processing the video in 2 seconds and the commercials are still there. Anyone have a clue what I'm missing here?

Also I'm using Cayars v17

Is there a copy of comskip on the computer that you are using the client on?

yep, comskip.exe is in the sagetv dir on the client

You didn't happen to download Jere's comskip proxy that he created and posted on dragonglobal.org? Because that just acts as a gateway to ShowAnalyzer. It isn't really comskip if you did do that. Otherwise I'm out of ideas too.

nope, only things i've installed are sagetv client and cayars stv, I think i'm going to just reinstall client and see what happens.

Before you do that, check to see if there is a .txt file with the show. If there is, delete it and try again.

Well there were some, but only for the shows I did from the server, none that I tried from the client. Odd thing was that yesterday I closed the client and tried to reopen it, but comskip was running in the background and sage wouldn't reopen until I ended the comskip process. This was a 1 time thing - hasn't happened since.
