Activation key
So my 15 day trial of Sage ran out last thursday and I went thru their website and purchased an activation key. Only the confirmation email I received said that I would receive another email shortly containing my activation key. So I waited and waited and got nothing. That was 4 days ago and I'm still waiting for my activation key. I sent an email back to them and got the following bounce back:
========================= This is the Postfix program at host spoon.dreamhost.com. I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations. For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster> If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the message returned below. From past discussions on the forum, the emails are sent out automatically almost immediately after the purchase. If you haven't received it, check your spam filtering to see if it got blocked.
When you emailed, did you use: orders@sagetv.com ? I would try it again, even if that is the one you used. - Andy

It really sounds like a problem with Sage's account at dreamhost, the horrible provider that hosts their site and these forums. It's probably about time that SageTV gets moved to a real host, like Net Solutions, Regiser, even Yahoo!

if you query netcraft you might notice that since the end of april, the forums server and EPG server (download.sage.tv) are hosted by Web intellects, not dreamhost/newdream...

I have no spam filtering enabled and did email orders@sagetv.com.

Resent the email 8 hours ago. This time it didn't bounce back, however, I'm still waiting for a reply. I'm very rapidly losing patience. I never though I'd ever have such a difficult time trying to legally use a product before. Why is it so difficult for me to purchase an activation key??? If anybody at Sage is reading this please wake up and help me. There's a person trying to purchase your software and cannot.

About all I can do is email someone about this. BTW: there have been some server issues lately, so perhaps that affected the store too. I'm sure someone will get back to you, but it may not be until sometime tomorrow.

W00T! Finally got my Activation Key. Now I can record ... crud! The TV season is mostly over. Oh well. Hopefully, Sage 3.0 comes out soon.

I paid for a activation key from their website last Thursday and they didn't send it until today. Meanwhile my 15 day free trial was expired.
