Hauppauge 250 and Dish Network

I am currently using a Hauppauge 250 with standard ananlog cable. I am considering switching to Dish Network. Will I need a different capture card in order to use the satellite signal?

Thanks in advance.

You will be fine. But, if you are currently not using a box for your cable, you will need to get something to controll the Dish receiver--either a USB-UIRT or the Actisys 200L. Many prefer the USB-UIRT because it can control up to 3 different receivers. I do not think that Dish has serial control support which DirecTV does. This would only require a serial cable and is much faster than the blasters.
