Best version of ffdshow and where to get it?

I've read that the 'latest' version of ffdshow is bad (performance problems, crashing, etc)

So what is the 'best' version of ffdshow? And where canI get a copy?

I've been using the latest version of ffdshow available from sourceforge for some time now with no problems.

The details page has an article talking about how ffdshow-20050328 is bad, so I'm guessing that's where you read about there being a bad version. The latest version on the "Daily builds" link is (as of this writing) ffdshow-20050303-sse, however, so this one should be good. I can't say for sure, though, as the version I've been using came off the "SourceForge downloads" page.
