Question Question about SageTV Home Page

Am I the only one in the world that cant get to the Sage home page...

I have tried:

www.sage.tv
www.sagetv.com
www.freytechnologies.com

for ALL these address I get a time out, cant even ping them. However I can get to these forums. So, what gives?

The big deal here is I have my friends PC here, and I have talked long about sage, and well, he is ready to give it a try. So i am trying to get the latest download to install for him, but alas.... I cant get to it. *sigh*

If you are using XP, try this:

Start -> Run -> cmd *enter* -> ipconfig /flushdns

Try the links again and see what happens.

Ok, did that and all three links still timeout.

FWIW, every computer on my network has the same problem. Not a one can get to the sage home page.

Any other ideas?

Powercycle your modem and router at the same time. If no luck. Call your ISP.

For future reference, it is not all that uncommon to encounter a path to a particular part of the internet that is temporarily down. Doesn't mean sage's servers are down, doesn't mean your ISP is broken, just means somewhere between the two of you there is a problem.

Although, for that to be the case their forums and main home page would have to be hosted in different places and I'm too lazy to check right now.

Anyways, FWIW. I wouldn't recommend you waste your time calling your ISP for something of that nature in future, just my opinion/preference though...
