PVR-500 SageTV Network Encoders
Hi Guys.
I've tried to set this up but have been unsuccessful in getting it stable. Previously I was using PVR-250s and Sage Recorder for my network encoders. However, I'm moved them to use 3 Digital Boxes so I wanted to use my 500 as dual analog encoders, and the 500 doesn't work with Recorder. I've tried using Sage 2.28 as the network encoder, followed the convoluted instructions on setting this up and they do show up in my main Sage Sever Install. But using them as tuners is a no go. Sometimes I get picture and sound, but almost all the time I get a black screen, a lock-up on one or both of the Sage installs, or in some cases a playback error. Has anyone tried a similar setup and got it working? My network isn't an issue either, throughput it fine and I'm running Gigabit... thx for any help... Davey |

No help but I'm pretty sure that Recorder does not work with the PVR150/500.
