Program information to text
Hi all,
Is there any way to copy the program information that Sage shows for recorded shows? I would like to copy the recording filename Sage creates and the show title, duration etc and paste that to a text file. When I try copy/paste, nothing happens. I thought that the information Sage shows for recorded shows is just text -- why isn't it possible to copy it? I would like to archive some SageTV recordings, and keep a text file for each MPEG with the show information. I will most likely not use SageTV to view these MPEGs, so I'd like to keep the info in txt format that can be viewed easily. Would there be any other way to do this? Thank you, R |

What are you copying from -- the detailed information page of SageTV itself? If so, this is not possible -- copy/paste is not supported by Sage.
You can ether copy/pasted from my webserver plugin's detailed info page in your web browser, or some of the custom STVs create a .xml file with show information for each recorded file.

Yes, I want to copy from the detailed information page. I don't want to use a custom STV until I am much more comfortable using Sage's own UI, but I will definitely take a look at your webserver plugin. But if I use the computer with Sage as a webserver, can I also use the browser to connect to the webserver that is running on the same machine? In other words, can one computer be both, the server and the client?
