Movie Information
I have a bunch of ripped movies that I watch using SageTV. Is there anyway to attach movie info (release date, description, etc...) without using a modded STV? I don't even care if it's an import from DVD Profiler. I'll manually type it in if I have to. Well cut and paste from somewhere anyway

Nope, the stock STV does not support importing/displaying of external data in any way, shape, or form. The only option is to use an STV that supports external metadata.

Ok. I guess I'll be playing with some tonight. Any out there that don't change the interface to much but allow importing of this information?

Actually, not that I can think of, the best on IMO (but I'm probably biased as I helped mlbdude) is the SageMC_169 one, but that one is probably about the biggest change. There's at least one that uses .my files (which can be generated from DVD Profiler), it might be Cayars, but I'm not sure.

Yes Cayars uses .my files and I personally like Cayars ability to customize the UI and delete extra stuff I don't need. My Server has a lot of the UI but my Client machines are pretty cleaned out.
