Anyone have this problem with the Gyration Remote?

I use the Media Center Keyboard and Remote for my home theater PC. When Sage video (any quality recording level) is playing, the Gyration equipment is only occasionally responsive and sometimes not responsive at all. As soon as the video is paused the Gyration equipment works normally. The CPU shows no more than 30% usage while Sage is running. I have tried setting Sage to the lowest process priority, but it doesn't help at all with the Gyration responsiveness.

I also have a StreamZap remote that controls Sage with complete responsiveness during video playback; that's why I think the problem resides with the Gyration software or drivers. The Gyration equipment also has responsiveness problems on certain web pages as well. I haven't figured out what elements (maybe Flash?) cause the problems yet though.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can you give me any guidance on how to fix this problem? I don't have my rig's specs handy but will get it tonight if there are version-specific problems people ID. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've had some trouble with the gyration (although nothing like what you say).

I've found there are two things critical to the performance of the gyration mouse and keyboard (for me anyway): if you have both, make sure they are at least two frequency settings from each other, and keep the receiver as low as possible to the floor (mine's on the floor).

rigor, Are you using the Gyration MCE Remote?

If so, have you been able to use all the buttons + gestures???
I haven't been able to use the gestures, in XP+Girder+Sage

Yep. It's the MCE version. The buttons all work, but I haven't programmed any swipes/gestures. I like the cursor control the gyro gives, but if I can't have the buttons work when Sage is playing video, the remote is going on ebay.
