Unhappy Firewall blocking connection for channel download

Hello,

I'm using ISA 2004 Firewall, does anyone have an idea what ports sageTV and/or zap2it web servises use to download tv listings?

Any help would be much apprecited.

According to this FAQ entry, it would be port 7760.

Andy,

Does the channel listings come from the SageTV server or from
http://datadirect.webservices.zap2it...gs/xtvdService which comes
from the zap2itconfig.xml file.

Can you disable the firewall temporary and see if it can connect, it might not be the firewall.

Where are located? In the US, the data comes via a connection to SageTV's EPG server. This will also be coming for Canada in the near future, as announced in the Canada section of this forum, but for now, I believe you still need to use the plugin for that.

Hello,

Yes I did by passed the firewall and as soon I do, I'm able to download the
TV listings.

I'm located in Canada. Presently I'm using the plugin which I downloaded from
Digicasa.

In that case, you will have to check to see how to clear a way through the firewall for that plugin.
