i am trying to find a front end to use and am testing sagetv have done some searching and all i have is more confusion ...will sagetv and fushion3 work in QAM Mode

No, my understanding is that Dvico has not implimented QAM on the BDA interface. That is (BDA) the "standard" driver interface that MCE and the rapidly-growing list of BDA apps are using.

And for OTA stuff, you'll have to use HDNE for now as Sage doesn't support BDA cards yet.

ok so i can chunk that card to the side....

will i be able to get sageTv to work with dishnetwork ird being pluged into an hauppauge wintv pvr usb2 box at least.
