How do you Cancel a Scheduled Recording In Progress?
I've looked all over in the interface and there does not appear to be any way short of closing SageTV app down, to cancel a scheduled recording in progress. Does anyone know how to do that? I figure there has to be a way, it's really anoying me because even if you shut the app down, and delete the file, as soon as you bring the app back up during the scheduled time, it starts recording again automatically. Once it is recording you don't get the 'Recording Options' button that has the cancel recording command in it like you do when you look at a scheduled recording that has not started yet. Instead you just see the Watch Now button. I tried clicking on that and then hitting close file. That doesn't work either. I also tried to set the program to 'Watched' while it was recording. Other posts I saw mentioned that it caused the program to stop recording and the file to be deleted. That did not work either.

If it is a Manual Recording, try using the Record command to cancel it. For Favs, you should be able to set it to Watched or Don't Like.
If you select it from the Recording Schedule, there should be a button for Record Options if it is a manual recording. (Hmmm... try using the other form of the schedule display, or access its detailed info screen from the LiveTV Guide.) - Andy
