System Clock Speeding Up
I was wondering if any of you have experienced this. It seems a little atypical because normally system clocks (like all other clocks) get slower and slower. Its becoming a problem recently because my clock speeds up by 2-3 minutes per hour. While I use a TimeSync program to reset it every hour, I have problems with my recordings that start at half past the hour. And really, I don't think this is good for my system for it to be gaining time like this. Any ideas?

low cmos battery can cause all kinds of oddities... replace it and see if that fixes the issue.

This could also be caused by a bug in Java on Windows that was worked around in SageTV 3.0. If you're a registered user, then try out the 3.0 preview release and that should fix your problem.

Who said SageTV personnel don't monitor the forums? Jeff, don't you have some bugs to create?

I had spent a few days on this one recently so the title caught my eye.
