3.05 shut down

Hi,

I installed beta 3.05 with just an ATI HDTV card. while installing and choosing the inputs, I can see it reads the ATI card.

I finish the set up, start up sage, goto tv guide, when I try to watch tv Sage shuts down completely.

If I restart I get the smae result. I uninstalled. reinstalled and same result. I installed 2.2 and upgrade to 3.05, same result.

I have p4, 2.4 ; 1 gid ram, a 6000gt card, the aforementioned ati hdtv card and no idea why it keeps shutting down.

I have changed the video options back and forth trying to see if that was it, but no go.

I am rebuilding a new server and I have not installed my 250 cards yet... but since the ati install isworking and the sage install previews the channels, I would not imagine that should matter.


Any ideas?

Hi,

I'm seeing the exact same thing ... it seemed to work (with random crashes) untill I told sage to use the tuner to look for channels ... since then it keeps on crashing when ever I want to access a channel what would be via the HDTV wonder ...

I might have done something wrong, but I thought I was using the tuner to look for HDTV stations but it was searching the lower channels .... etc.

Same for me, removing the HDTV wonder from the sources and re-adding it etc. etc. noe has the same result ... complete exit / shutdown of Sage-TV.
