HP media center remote double trouble

I am using sagetv 2.2.8 with a USB-UIRT and the HP media center remote control. I've mapped the commands in detailed setup, and they seem to work, but with one little hitch. You have to press each button twice before sage will respond. It's like double clicking for everything.

Any ideas?

MCE remotes are using two signals for each button.
So, just program each command twice - first and second press of the button.

ORen.

You seem to have a remote that has dual parity on the buttons. This means that a button will send a different code to the USB-UIRT each time it is pressed.

when you teach sage the remote commands, press the button twice for each command. You should end up with 2 remote codes for each command.
e.g:
Press the learn 'left' option in Sage, press left on remote.
Repeat the process WITHOUT pressing any other remote buttons in-between untill no more new codes show for that button.
