What's the best customization?

I have loaded Beelzebub's DCT program on my Trial of SageTV (I have 3 more days before expire). I love the way the standard program works but am not sure what enhancements to load additionally...

I have an Archos 340 and need my movies to formated for that platform (Divx) and I need to write DVD's. I want Commercial detect and I want all of this in my SageTV so that when I capture it will... detect commercials... create the divx automatically.

What is the best way to do this?

(I'm new and have spent the last 5 days looking for these answers)

Please someone point me in the right direction for my wishes... I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase... what's better?

You cannot automatically convert captured shows to DIVX with the current versions of SageTV and the current customisations.

I realize that SageTV cannot create Divx files... I just would like an application that would start as soon as my recording is done and clip commercials and create a divx at the appropriate size.
