Do you have the old iMon or the new iMon? (ie does it have a big pad or not)

Thanks,
Mike

Not the newest remote control, but the software is the same. I think the model is the RSC, it is black and has a joystick in the middle that can be used as a mouse or as up/down/left/right arrows.

it is pictured here http://www.remotecentral.com/imon/index.html

You're lucky. Soundgraph went to a proprietary IR format with the new version of remote and IR reciever. The new IR reciever cannot recieve IR commands from normal IR devices like universal remotes, and universal remotes like the harmony can't learn the new IR codes from the new iMon remote. Forget using one remote to control your reciever volume and your HTPC.

Thanks,
Mike

Does anyone know where I can get a config for my remote to work in Sage?

Instead of programming each key function.

If you bought the remote from PCAlchemy.com, you might try asking them if they know where to get one.

They are very good about supporting thier customers.

Is programming the keys difficult? I know my MCE remote took less than 5 minutes to program.

here is my config,
works for my needs, I had some difficulty deciding where to map what command,
I am so used to the hauppauge 45 button upstairs I wish there were some unmarked distinct buttons like the colored buttons on the HPP45.

O got the attached file from lbeagley79

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...73&postcount=6

This is instructions provied to me ...

Open up iMON manager, goto setup, then under program CMD "Add Program"
SageTV. Use the "Import" function to select the .imo config file attached.
You can look at the inputs I'm using and configure it to your hearts desire to make it work properly. If you get it functioning the way you want, you can find the .imo file saved in the iMON program files directory and make a backup of it

Hope that hepls ... T.

That is the remote I got, and from reading here and everywhere else on the net, I came to believe that I couldnt learn this remote into another like a Pronto, and use the Pronto. That is not the case. I have done so with a few test buttons and they worked fine. So did something just recently change with iMon's setup, or am I getting all confused and its a different remote receiver that has issues?
