Broken mpegs ?
Using Sage TV 2.1.10 for many months, no problem at all
then started getting intermittently bad mpegs. the mpegs play ok using sage, and don't look too bad (mostly) even when played on another computer using media player 10 now almost all mpegs are bad as described below. mpegs have a blip about every half second or so that seems to scramble colours, pixellate video. When trying to edit out commercials with womble any attempt to reverse the video to end of scene results in severe stutter. When the edited mpeg is saved the scrasbled colours/pixellation is even more severe. The same happens when I try to encode to DVD. I have uninstalled pvr250 drivers and upgraded to sage 2.2.8 but seem to still have same problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. sagetv 2.2.8 happauge pvr 250 drivers 22.23.270 biostar m7vig400 via km266 pro (on board sound) 256 meg ddr ati 9200 |

I had a similar problem when my PVR250 started to go out. It eventually failed completely.
