Clear out Recorded TV?
I just reformatted my video drive, and sage still has the files that were in there listed, even though they are deleted.
how can I clear the list? |

Are the drives where the recordings used to exist still accessible? SageTV has to have access to the same drive or location where the files used to be in order for it to recognize that they are no longer there. Check the detailed info for some recording & scroll own in the bottom-right info area to see where it believes the file to be. Make that drive or UNC path available.
Did the Windows computer name change? Try setting the make_all_mediafiles_local=true property while SageTV or the service is not running, then restart SageTV. - Andy

Thanks for the reply OPUS.
The drive is no longer accesable as it was because I reformmated it and named it differently. on my server I wasn't able to erase them using sageMC16x9 on beta3.07. the delete went through but didnt remove it from the listing. I went downstairs and tried it with the standard stv. and it did work well. I was able to get all of the files removed from the list. I had it fixed before I saw your reply so I did not try your fix. Thanks Mike |
