Partition multiple network drives
Does anyone know if it is at all possible to create a logical partiton using multiple network drives so that they appear to be one drive? Is there any software that can create this or can you do it in XP professional?

looking in Disk Management for WinXP, it does not show information for networked drives, So I would have to say that it is not possible in XP. But I could be wrong.
Although with Windows 2000 Server and up you could use DFS (Distributed File Shares). A brief description of this can be found HERE

Actually I wanted to do something similair. I have 4x400GB raid-5 drive, 2x400GB seperate drives, 2x120GB raid-0 OS, a USB250GB and USB200GB.
I use the raid-5 for encoded DVDs and the other non-OS drives for TV storage. I record to the OS drive as well. Now this means that in the Video Import folder setting I have to put 5 paths in from the 5 different drives. I think it would be up to SageTV to allow shortcuts to operate as regular drives. So on my raid-5 drive I should be able to put shortcuts to the other 5 shares/drives so that I have two choices to choose from (Movie & TV) instead of the 5 I have now (Movies, TV1, TV2, USB200, USB250). Can somebody tell me if this is possible to accomplish in a plug-in or something?
