Sage hangs when deleting a recorded program
I had this problem with 1.4.5 which is why i went back to 1.3.8 seems it's still in 1.4.7
sage was loaded ok, went to sage guide, sage recordings then tried to delete a movie i'd already watched. I selected delete then the hard drive went frantic for about a minute. Once drive activity stopped, sage was hung. Cant pick any menu options, cant scroll, cant do anything. The program has been deleted from the video folder. The only way i could close sage down was through task manager. Attached my sage_0.txt |

UPDATE: When i rebooted my machine and restarted sage, the program i tried to delete was still showing in my sage guide even though the file was not on the disk.
Deleting it this time worked fine. |

exactly same problem happened again, seems to be a general delete program bug with 1.4.5 onwards

Your problem may be the same as my 'hang on delete or close'.
I've narrowed it down to occuring when using the PVR350 decoder with software decoding disabled. |

That's definitely where the problem is. It should be fixed for the next build.

when's the next build? I love having sw_decoding disabled
Also, I don't know how you implemented the program, but the thing won't die when I kill the process-- highly annoying, because I have to reboot the machine, fire up wintv2k, close that, restart sage... all valuable time I could be spending watching tv! |
