Is there still a problem with caching/memory usage with 3.0.7?
I noticed that the size of sagetv.exe will grow and shrink "ridiculously". Sometimes it will take up as much as 190mb's (which is okay by me) and in other times, but then it will shrink down to 60mb's. This causes big performance issues for me when it has to load over 100mbs over and over again.
Andy, can you explain to me what's causing this? I have 1GB of system ram; so I would prefer for sagetv to be a little bit greedy and keep the memory it uses cached since it take a relatively long time to load all that data again.
Is there a way to keep the java heap size large and not have it shrink?
