USBUIRT & exvu4700
hello all, i have a usb uirt (without 56khz) and an expressvu 4700 settop box.
I think this is similar to the dishnet 4700. I cannot get sage to properly learn the codes from the 4700 remote. In the past, sage has reliably learned the codes to many other remotes I own. I am thinking the 4700 remote may operate at 56Khz... and this is why my USBUIRT cannot properly learn the codes. What I am seeing is that sage and the usbuirt fails on 3 or 4 of the channel numbers 0-9... the numbers it fails to learn on are different everytime i run the relearn command. Furhtermore, after repeated attempts, it eventually reports that the code has been learned correctly... however, when sage tries to do a channel change it fails... the channel is either not changed at all or is the wrong number. If this is a 56khz problem... and my usb uirt doesnt have a 56khz sensor... surely someone out there has the required codes for the usb uirt... my understanding is the usbuirt can emit at 56khz... it just cannot receive. I read that a USBUIRT can learn 56Khz codes... and can emit them... it jsut cant "Receive" them... but it can learn them. I have no idea why this isnt working... very frustrating anyone?
