I was thinking about getting a ConvertX so I could record directly to DivX. Is there any noticable quality changes (Picture wise) between the ConvertX and the 150? Also I don't want to buy another remote, so if I leave the PVR 150 installed can I use the remote to control the ConvertX through Sage?

I'll leave the quality comparison to someone else, but the Plextor does not interfere w/the Hauppauge remote at all, so you would still be able to use the 150's remote to control SageTV.

If using cable TV you can leave both installed and have 2 tuners. As for recording directly to Divx? If you are currently recording to mpeg2 and encoding to Divx, you will notice a considerable drop in quality unless you use a much higher bitrate. Recording directly to Divx only uses 1-pass encoding and the quality suffers greatly because of it...
This is why my Plextor has been collecting dust for the last 6 months.
