Sage Recording w/Media Player Problem

I seem to be having difficulties with the Windows Media Player full screen failing when watching recorded *.mpg files.

Has anyone tried recording a show, opened up the dumped *.mpg file with Windows Media Player, then tried to view it in Full Screen Mode?

Media Player goes full screen, but the actual video size is not any bigger, and after a few seconds, it kicks back to windowed mode. Almost appears to be some problem with the rendering.

I'm using 3.0.11 w/ ATI HDTV Wonder

Thanks!
Jonathan

Any idea on a fix for this?

Does it have something to do with the decoder? I'm using the SageTV Mpeg Video Decoder. I'm also using the Video Renderer as Overlay. Everything else is the defaults.

I haven't found a fix. For me the the .mpg files play fine in Sage.

This would suggest to me the problem lies with Windows Media Player. I have no idea how WMP decodes the .mpg or if you can specify what decoder to use.

A quick suggestion would be to try another player that's not sage or WMP and see what results you get.
