Java VM Crash Running as Service
Not sure if it is purely because Sage is running as a service, but the crash doesn't seem to occur if I am NOT running as a service. Basically, if I am shuttling FF/REW quickly through a recorded program, I will eventually crash SageTV. Let me know if any of you have seen something similar. I am running with Intervideo WinDVD7 decoders using VMR9 and 3D Accelleration to enable closed captions.
The Microsoft Crash Report states the error occurred in the JVM. I do get an error in the Event Log about the JVM as follows: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: 10/3/2005 Time: 4:43:36 PM User: N/A Computer: MEDIACENTER Description: Faulting application sagetv.exe, version 2.0.0.1, faulting module jvm.dll, version 5.0.40.5, fault address 0x0000a9de. I removed the long log listing as part of a post -- I used to say not to post logs, but SageTV changed their minds about that. If you are going to post some log info, please put it in an attachment. But, SageTV themseleves are really the best people to look at a log as part of a bug report.
