Cannot toggle "full screen" on TV-OUT - help
I decided to try my video card's S-VIDEO out instead of the 350's video out. I can see the picture on my television (along with the regular Windows XP stuff), however when I toggle full screen or enter full screen mode through Sage, nothing happens on the TV or at the PC's monitor.
Is there some step that I am missing to use this mode? I assume it will fill the entire TV screen with the video of the show only, and not "My Computer" and "Network Neighborhood"! Thanks! Steve |

Nevermind, I think I figured it out. Setting on the video card itself, enable full screen for device (PRIMARY) or (SECONDARY). I picked secondary, and my TV displays full screen SageTV, while my PC is the normal Windows stuff. Pretty cool!

Ok, I'm done talking to myself - I just have one other question...
In this setup of using the video card out instead of the 350 out, I do not get the menu overlays on my TV screen. They show up on the PC, but not on the TV - is this just the way it is with the setup, or is it possible to get the UI with a video card out? Thanks again... |

check your video card settings... Some have a 'theatre' mode where only the video overlay is copies to tv-out... You need to use 'clone' mode so the PC's monitor + tv-out display the same image, or 'dual' mode (2 separate screens) but with the tv as primary (video often does not wrork well on secondary)
