Dvico Fusion 5 HDTV and analog channels?

Hi, I have done a search and didn't find any definitive answers...

The v3 Beta is supposed to support software encoders, so I thought a software encoder is what will make analog channels work with my Fusion 5 HDTV card. However, I've found that analog channels do NOT work. I can't find any place in the configuration to specify a specific software encoder.

Is it the case that SageTV v3 just won't support analog channels on a Fusion 5 card? I'm out of slots so I can't buy an analog tuner card to add, not to mention it seems kind of wasteful when the Fusion 5 is more than capable of receiving analog stations.

I have dual tuners, a Fusion 5 HDTV Gold and Lite.
I'm trying to use the v3 Beta trial because it's the only software I've heard that supports software encoding.
