The Connection to the SageTV Server has been Lost

I have Sage and Sageclient. Both ver 2.2.8
Both are on a winXP sp2 with firewall Disabled. I have tried to foward 42024 and 7818 to 192.168.0.3 (server), reinstall Client, Register client, uninstall Java 5 and re-install Java 1.4.2.09, restarted client and rebooted router on each test.
No connection issues prior to this but I did have a problem on the server where I had to restore a backup of the directory from last week because the Server was stuck on the initalizing UI and would not fully load. Since then I get "The Connection to the SageTV Server has been Lost. Attempting to restore the connection... ERROR message. What else should I try?

Mon 10/17 23:17:32.431 SageTV received connection from:Socket[addr=/192.168.0.16,port=1797,localport=42024]

Error message says something about Client being wrong version. Are you sure SageTV and SageTV Client are the same version? Are both machines are running the same version of Java? Don't know that they need to but with that error I'd make sure they are.

too tired I guess. I thought that it meant Java was wrong version. Although I know I had Java 1.4 on server and 5 on client when I first set them up and it worked fine. But what I did was re-install 2.2.8 on both machines but when I copied my backup folder on my server, I must have grabbed the wrong one because it was 2.2.6 and that was the problem.
