DVD playing changes resolution?
I have my video card hooked up to an hdtv, and I am using powerstrip to set the resolution. Recording and watching shows seems to be working fine so far. But, when I play a DVD, it must change the resolution because the hdtv display looks like it did when I tried resolutions it couldn't handle.
The same thing happens when I try to play a dvd in media player, so it is probably in some driver or decoder that both media player and sage use. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix this?

It turns out that installing purevideo drivers from nvidia fixes this problem for me.
Just replying to myself so that if anyone else has this problem they might find this answer. I kind of doubt it, though, since any time I try to do a search all I get hits on are all the crap people put in their signatures.
