RC3 no audio from firewire STB, audio fine on PVR-500

I just upgraded from 3.0.5 to 3.0.14RC3, and I no longer have audio on content recorded via firewire STB connection. The audio works fine from my PVR-500s. Audio & video from the problem files plays fine when they are played directly through an external player (tested WMP & PowerDVD).

I've scoured the forums & see poeple talking about audio problems, but I have not seen this exact scenario.

Any ideas? I've tried every codec listed to no avail.

Of course I search for two days & find nothing, then find the answer an hour after posting that I can't find it.

Anyway, I found this post #693) by eobiont that describes what to do:

First dowload and install AC3 filter version .070 (not 1.01 or 1.02)
Now install Sage Beta 3.05
Now makw a backup of the SageTV folder from Program Files/SageTV (I backed up the common dir as well-Rob)
Install Sage 3.0.11 (I installed .14RC3-Rob)
Copy the AC3 ax file from ProgramFiles\AC3 over the top of the one in Program Files\SageTV

Also copy the 3.05 versions of files mpeg*.ax from the backup you made (SageTV\Common) into the 3.0.11 versions. The 3.05 are July 25, the 3.011 versions are Sept 20.

Worked like a charm.
