Second tuner card disapeared
Hi,
SageTV worked perfectly with 2 tuner cards (1 PVR350 & 1 PVR150) until yesterday when I could only use 1 card... Both are working correctly but Sage sees only one... Before, I had 'hauppauge...' & 'hauppauge... #2' as video source. Now, #2 has disapeared If I disable one card, sage sees it and if I disable the other one, sage sees it also (with the same name as the first one)... but not both together... Does anyone have the solution for that??? Thanks Ferdinand

In your properties file look for an entry 'mmc/ignor_encoders='. You may find that this has one of your hauppauges listed to be ignored.
My system does this occasionally. I just delete the card reference from the ignored list and I get it back. Good luck. |

The TV is superb! It really does have one of the best looking screens around. There is however a problem with connecting this model to a PC (I found this out after buying it!). If you use the screens 'native' resolution of 1280 x 720, you end up with a 1 inch black border all around the picture. It is an issue with this model and cannot be resolved.
The good news is that the new model (32pf9830) apparently addresses this issue. All hail the 'ambi-light'. Though it may look like a gimmick, the 'ambi-light' actually really adds to the viewing experience (once stop actually looking at the light saying"how cool is that"). |
