Sage V.4 and Digital STB

I recently moved to Comcast digital service and would like to record some of the digital channels that are available. My STB is a Motorola 6208 which has a coax TV\VCR output that I thought I could use to access the new channels. After I changed the channel lineup in the capture card setup I only get one channel which is #3. So what do I have to do to get this to work?

If you connect to the digital box thru coax you just change the channel on your digital set top box. If you're using the s-video and audio out you need to reconfigure your tuner to use those inputs.

OK,so if I use s-video and audio cables the channels should be enabled and then do I need to leave the STB ON because I turn it to Standby if I am away from the TV. I am currently using component out to my LCD TV so would that have any effect on s-video out? I'm still confused because with analog it was all so automatic.

Analog cable out of the wall is a no brainer. You want your digital channels and they come out of your digital settop box. So yes that needs to be on. And you need to figure a way that Sage will change your channels for your on your settop box. Like a USB-UIRT which has an infrared blaster that will blast the channel. Or a set top box that has a serial connection that you can control with Sage. Your best bet is to leave the settop box on all the time. Read the manual that comes with Sage so you understand what you need to do.
