SageTV, WInTV PVR 250, and Gaming

Can you record a show using WinTV PVR 250 and SageTV while playing a video game or watching TV. I have a fairly high end gaming setup and expanding it to PVR would be the next thing I would do with the system.

Specs are P4 3.0GHz, 1GB RAM, and a 9800 Pro.

Watching TV and playing an intense game might be pretty hard..........depending how much CPU is being used/required by the game because the TV playback would be consuming CPU cycles as well (about 15-20% capacity on my machine). But recording simultaneously is no problem as Narflex says, because the PVR250 card does all that encoding processing.
