SageTV 4.0 service - opening Sage UI hangs running SageTV client
Hey everyone -
I've found what I think is a bug in SageTV v 4.0 -- if someone can duplicate I'll open a support request with Sage. I'm running SageTV v 4.0. Server is running as SageTV service on win2k. I have multiple SageTV clients around the house running also on win2k. If no sageTV client instances are running, I can start the sageTV UI on the server to watch tv without any problems. However, if any SageTV client instances are running, when I go to start the sagetv UI on the server, the server UI does not start, and in addition the running sageTV client instance hangs up. If the sageTV UI is already running on the server, clients can be started up afterwards and everythign works just fine. Let me know if anyone can duplicate this or knows how to work around it... -Justin |

Doesn't happen on XP. I have 3 clients and can start the UI on the server anytime without affecting any of the clients. No hangups either.
