Recordings in V4 not complete

I have been using Sage since Jan 2004. I have had a few recording issues when I first setup my Sage machine. But for the most part Sage has been over 99% reliable for me. The only other thing I use the server for is editing out commercials and encoding. Machine stays lean and clean and I do not use Windows Update out of fear. WinXP Pro SP2 with Sage V4 and included Java build.
Well since upgrading to 4 I have had 3 shows just stop recording with 10-15 minutes left to go. CSI last night was one of them.
My only guess is that the padding is screwing things up. I have CSI to pad 10 minutes before and 5 after for a total of 15 minutes. Now it recorded right around one hour(Can't remember exactly). So can it be that it starts the padding 10 minutes before the show but then forgets what it did and records only the one hour?

Are you sure you set the padding correctly? Seems the start padding works opposite in favorites and manual recordings. I.e. using the left arrow/button on a favorite starts a recording LATER than the posted time, while on a manual recording it (as it SHOULD!!) starts it earlier than the posted time.
That messed me up the first few times I used it. I had actually gone through all my favorites (about 50 of them!!) setting the start/end padding and had to go back through all of them a couple days later when I noticed all my favorites were starting 2 minutes LATE instead of 2 minutes early.

Positive.. I installed over 2.2.8 so my favorite settings are all still the same.
I even checked when I thought it was a padding issue.
If it happens again, I will not delete the file before I check the actual length of the video to see if it seems like padding.
A long time ago (In a Sage version far far away) I used to get multiple files of a recording, but never did it just STOP recording.... Maybe just a coincidence that it happened a few times after V4 install?
