How to have it return to same show

With version 4 I love the way malores recordings returns to the show you were watching on the guide after you stop. But my wife likes the way mldude's recordings looks the only thing I don't like is it returns to the first show on the list. How do I change this? I have messed with studio and am beginning to understand how to use it but I can't figure this out.

I looked and looked, but couldn't see anything resetting the menu or setting the focus inside the SageRecordings w/ Categories by CSM - TEST menu. Then I wondered if the way it was being opened was causing the problem, so a made a new menu item and called it directly and the problem went away.

So in the Main Menu relink:
SageTV Recordings
- SageRecordings SHORTCUTS

To:
SageTV Recordings
- SageRecordings w/ Categories by CSM - TEST

The focus is reset on that menu inside the "SageRecordings STYLE LINKS" menu, where it sets a random number in a static context before jumping to the menu. This causes the whole menu to be reset because it is being entered w/a different static context than any previous time. If you set the 'true' conditional to 'false', it won't set a random number.

Why did I do this? Becuase people have mentioned problems (here too + keep reading) with this menu, which have never completely gone away. I've updated the menu a bit since those comments were posted, but it still isn't completely fixed. I don't use this menu, so I don't have a lot of incentive to work on it further. Anyone who uses this menu: now that Studio is out, please feel free to fix the remaining issues on this menu.

Alternatively, you could modify malore's menu to display items in a taller button format, the way the mlbdude 2-pane menu does... something I thought about turning into an option, but again: I prefer the large number of entries visible the way it is.

Thanks I will see If I can figure it out but for now I just added a archive this recording button to the delete this file screen. After my wife watches something she can archive it then I know that I can delete it after I watch it before she would watch then have to find the program again then archive. So I fixed the problem another way.
