16x9 Big Screen? NVIDIA Card? What resolution are you running?

I have a 55" CRT RPTV with a VGA input. I was originally running 1800x960i, but my NVIDIA card (the 5200) couldn't do overlay on interlaced settings, so I'm using 1800x540p (with Powerstrip).

But now my Sage menus have much smaller type, and are hard to read. Plus, I'm getting some tearing with video pans.

So which resolutions are you guys using with your NVIDIA cards? Do you need to use Powerstrip, or is it a built in custom setting?
