my new favorite way to configure nvidia card for sage
I have a gf6600 gt, and could never get a good setup for having sage rendered by the vid card, and output to my tv... while still being able to monitor it on the pc monitor. Clone view meant my pc had to run at 60Hz, and dualview meant that sage was not visible on my monitor, as it was the second head and was only visible on the TV... well all that chagned last nite... when i found the setting for "full screen video" in the nvidia properties. I set this to "automatic" instead of the default "Disabled" and voila...i had full screen sage, visible on my TV in dual view... and a 640x480 window of sage on my monitor. this is ideal for me. my monitor can stay at 85hz... and i can still control sage on the PC.
I dont need to drag sage over to the second head in the dual view, as whatever that "full screen video" on "automatic" does, is pretty much exactly what I want.
One thing that is weird... if you have the sage window on your monitor any smaller then 640x480, it will kind of mess up on the tv output... it gives a picutre in picture effect.... but you can run it minizmed on the pc monitor and it still shows full screen on the TV. just posting this for anyone else who cant quite get a good nview setup going for sage.
